Speaker Of Edo State House Of Assembly Steps Down – Read Why

Mrs. Elizabeth Ativie has stepped down from her position as Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly.
Her Deputy, Dr. Justin Okonoboh was however elevated to the position immediately she resigned.
Okonoboh was sworn in yesterday. It would be recalled that Ativie was sworn in on May ‎3rd, the day her predecessor, Victor Edoror, was impeached.
