Musa played for Pillars during the 2009/2010 season, when he set a new all-time goals record of 18 in the NPFL.
“Pillars are due part of the training compensation from the sale of Ahmed Musa to Leicester City,” an official told AfricanFootball.
Musa’s former clubs, CSKA and VVV Venlo, will also benefit from this pay-out.
However, his first club in Nigeria, JUTH FC, will not be part of this payment, as they have become defunct.
The 23-year-old has made four Premier League appearances so far for Claudio Ranieri’s men and is yet to score.
