There is no gainsaying to the fact that Biafra reawakening has become a rallying point in the sphares of the Nigerian state. The cause for Biafra restoration is maximally gaining momentum in Biafraland and across the length and breath of Nigeria and the world at large. The leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has taken the lead in the dissemination of the gospel of Biafra restoration to towns and villages of Biafraland, as well as the urban areas. Being a good leader who is indefatigably and resolutely fighting for his people from the front, Kanu has wittingly re-energised and re-motivated Biafrans to continually without equivocation demand the total and unfettered restoration of Biafra from the contrapted Nigerian state.
The Nigerian government has since 1914 subjected the indigenous Biafran people into slavery with the full support of the British Empires who were the colonial masters. They gained access to natural resources in Biafraland by forcefully merging us with people that have alien cultures to ours. This is really injustice to Biafrans and humanity at large and can no longer be torelated.
But honestly speaking, Biafrans have suffered immeasurably in Nigeria ranging from political disenfranchisement, social and economic strangulations, wanton destruction of properties, unwarranted butchery and maiming of youths, secret and illegal abductions and unlawful incarceration of the youths and innocent children alike, even as those who were secretly abducted were gifted with raw acid that will lead to slow but painful death, while others were taken to unknown location probably for summary execution or assassination. These and other inhumane treatment fuelled the speculations that Biafrans are targeted and have become endangered species for total extermination in Nigeria.
It is rather hypocritical and has become a pathetic situation, that the world is feigning ignorance to the crass injustices being metted on Biafrans on daily bases by the Nigerian government with impunity. It is a known and established fact that self determination is internationally recognised as it is enshrined in the United Nations charter of the Rights of Indigenous People to self governance. Is it now a crime to seek self determination from Nigeria and why is the world still keeping quiet on this?
It is now time for Biafrans to take the gospel of Biafra referendum to
the rural areas of Biafraland.
It is also time to start full blown
evangelism of Biafra referendum, arming ourselves with the rudiments of
referendum and what it entails, moving to towns and villages,
sensitizing the people from the grassroots. Nnamdi Kanu the leader of
Indigenous People Of Biafra has rekindled and reawaken the Biafra
consciousness to the psych of an average Biafran youth and must not be
allowed to extinguish.
The people of Biafra must be allowed to decide their fate in Nigeria. The Biafra struggle is all about shifting power from political parliament to the people's parliament. Power to decide, should be dissoluted to ordinary citizens which is what democracy entails.
We hereby urge all well meaning Biafrans to take up the evangelism of Biafra referendum to his or her domain which will also serve as a means of creating more awareness on the need for Biafrans to have faith in the struggle for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra which is imminent. All the Biafran territories must be saturated with the Biafra referendum campaign both in the coastal region and hinterland.
However, it will be of good essence to end this piece with the message of election boycott directives because there is an outstanding directive for Biafrans to boycott all subsequent Nigerian organised elections in Biafraland, starting with the proposed gubernatorial election billed to take place on 18th November, 2017 in Anambra state. Election boycott is a civil disobedience which is rudimentary to self determination, which is also a democratical means of achieving a particular political aim.
