The royal couple released some photos to celebrate
The Queen celebrated her platinum wedding anniversary to Prince Philip this week – and details have emerged of what went on.
On Monday, the 91-year-old and the Duke of Edinburgh, 96,
celebrated 70 years since tying the knot on November 20,1947, at
Westminster Abbey, London.
As part of the celebrations, the Queen held a special party at Windsor Castle for family and close friends.
It was revealed two very key people were seemingly not invited.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie’s
boyfriend Jack Brooksbank are said to have not attended, according to
Hello Magazine.
This is despite Meghan being in London at the moment and rumours
swirling that she and Harry are set to announce their engagement.
Now more details of the bash have been revealed.
The Daily Mail claimed singer Dillie, part of the cabaret troupe Fascinating Aida, gave a solo performance.
Dillie specialises in humorous songs and satirical stand-up routines.
Actress Joanna Lumley was master of ceremonies at the bash, which had an ice sculpture with the letters E and P.
Guests ate langoustine and pheasant with a replica of the couple's wedding cake for pudding.
Prince Harry was pictured arriving on the night alongside Prince William and Kate in a black car and without Meghan.

The stunning 36-year-old Suits star and the royal hunk started dating last year after meeting at the Toronto Invictus Games.
Since then, speculation has been rife about when Harry will wed the American actress.
But now it has been claimed he has already popped the question and the couple is gearing up to announce it.
US Weekly said the couple will take part in a photoshoot and syndicated television interview at Kensington Palace “sometime in January”.
