@daenarysbaby who backed her claim by sharing a photo of Kobe and Gianna sharing a lip kiss, alleged that their death in a helicopter crash is an atonement for their sins.

“He was last in my house on New Year’s … and one of the last things he said to me was, ‘You gotta see Gianna play basketball.’”

Videos of the moment after Kobe Bryant's helicopter crashed has been released online.

Pilot Ara George Zobayan, who was flying the helicopter, also died in the crash which occurred in January 2020 but his representative has now accused the passengers of "negligence".
The relative of the pilot has responded to Vanessa Bryant's lawsuit against Ara and the helicopter company, Island Express, by saying those on board the helicopter were to blame for the crash.
He said: "Any injuries or damages to plaintiffs and/or their decedent were directly caused in full or in part by the negligence or fault of plaintiffs and/or their decedent, including their knowing and voluntary encounter with the risks involved, and that this negligence was a substantial factor in causing their purported damages, for which this answering defendant bears no responsibility."
Due to fog and poor visibility, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies grounded their fleet the morning of the crash The pilot had to circle around the Griffith Park area for 15 minutes before being cleared to fly to the Mamba Academy up north.
Unfortunately, the pilot was going 184 MPH in blinding fog when he crashed into a hill, killing everyone on board.
The statement from the late pilot's rep comes after Ms. Bryant filed a lawsuit alleging that Island Express Helicopters and Island Express Holding Corp, were only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, and the conditions the day of the crash were not conducive to such flying.
The complaint, heard in Los Angeles County Superior Court, also claims the pilot failed "to use ordinary care in piloting the subject aircraft" and was "negligent".
Additionally, it alleges that the pilot was disciplined in 2015 for violating the visual flight rule minimums by flying into an airspace of reduced visibility.
Ms Bryant has also filed a claim against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, contending deputies shared unauthorized photos of the site where her husband and daughter died in a helicopter crash in January.

Kobe Bryant partnered up with The Sports Academy in 2018, which led to the Academy being called "Mamba Sports Academy."
Kobe was very involved with the Academy and was actually on his way there on January 26 when his helicopter crashed, killing him, his 13-year-old daughter and 7 others.
Now, Sports Academy founder and CEO Chad Faulkner says the company will make significant changes as a tribute to the NBA legend, including removing Kobe's nickname, Mamba, from the Academy's name.
"Today, with respect for an unparalleled legacy, the Academy will retire the 'Mamba' in the Mamba Sports Academy name -- to raise it to the rafters, where it belongs," Faulkner said in a statement.
Faulkner explained his decision to ESPN's The Undefeated, saying, "Our beliefs and thoughts are Kobe is one of one. 'Mamba' is one of one."
"And with that as we carry on as The Sports Academy, it's more appropriate to put Kobe in another Hall of Fame, if you will, and to really respect a legacy that is really unrivaled, frankly, and let that live on its own. We will continue to do the work we do."
"We were fortunate to learn from Kobe. We will carry on much of those learnings that we have in a respectful way."
People are confused by this decision and are wondering how it "honours" Kobe.
The Sports Academy has already changed its website to reflect its new name and says it will make changes to signage at its buildings in Thousand Oaks and Redondo Beach.

Statement From Gary C. Robb, Legal Counsel on Behalf of His Client, Vanessa Bryant:
Our client, Vanessa Bryant, is absolutely devastated by allegations that deputies from the Lost Hills Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department publicly disseminated photos from the helicopter crash site.
Mrs. Bryant personally went to the Sheriff’s office on January 26th and requested that the area be designated a no-fly zone and protected from photographers. This was of critical importance to her as she desired to protect the dignity of all the victims, and their families. At that time, Sheriff Alex Villanueva assured us all measures would be put in place to protect the families’ privacy, and it is our understanding that he has worked hard to honor those requests.
First responders should be trustworthy. It is inexcusable and deplorable that some deputies from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s substation, other surrounding substations and LACOFD would allegedly breach their duty. This is an unspeakable violation of human decency, respect, and of the privacy rights of the victims and their families. We are demanding that those responsible for these alleged actions face the harshest possible discipline, and that their identities be brought to light, to ensure that the photos are not further disseminated. We are requesting an Internal Affairs investigation of these alleged incidents.
Mrs. Bryant is grateful to the individual who filed an online complaint exposing these acts of injustice, and for the choice to protect human dignity.
We ask that anyone else who has information as to the facts underlying these alleged grievous and shameful incidents contact our office.
