Nigeria's
former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed that
there is an ongoing 'evil' plan by the Northerners to slaughter Igbo
people on October 1.
Fani-Kayode
Influential Nigerian politician, essayist and chieftain of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), David Oluwafemi Fani-Kayode, has taken
to his Twitter page and revealed that there are alleged underground
plans by the Northerners to slaughter Igbo people on October 1.
The former Minister of Aviation, took to his Twitter account on Tuesday morning, and wrote; “I heard the audio inciting northerners to slaughter Igbos on Oct. 1st.
He added; “Failure to stop this from happening by govt will result in civil war.”
The outspoken writer and columnist warned seriously that the move may lead to another civil war if nothing is done immediately.
Meanwhile, The Trent
has exclusively published a hateful audio recording by a man who gives
his name as Ibrahim Muhammad Jajere, which calls for the Northern people
to “rise up against the Igbos” using “a match stick and a litre of petrol” and other dangerous weapons to attack them on October 1, 2017.
The message narrated in Hausa language echoes the same intolerant
rhetoric that was recently published by a coalition of Arewa youth
groups calling for the eviction of Igbos from Northern Nigeria.
