According to Bleacher Report, Messi might have outbid Ronaldo at a recent auction for the world’s most expensive car.
The car, a 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, was auctioned off in the French capital of Paris, by Proto Organization for (N10.8 billion) $36 million. Albeit, the organization declined to reveal the highest bidder between the soccer superstars but agreed that the car is the latest object in the eternal duel between the players. The bidding started from N6.75 billion ($22.5 million).
It was the chosen whip of British driver, Sterling Moss at the 1958 Cuban Grand Prix, and apparently, Ronaldo wanted it as much as Messi did, and things got competitive.
Believe it or not, the 1957 Ferrari is not bad for 2016.
