Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye visited Kenya over the weekend.
Escorted by Charles Uwagbai – the director of 'Breathless' featuring Mike Ezuruonye, Bimbo Manuel, Uti Nwachukwu and more -, he reportedly met a number of Kenyan movie stars and also paid a visit to Nairobi governor's office.
The 33-year-old will commence work on his new movie in the country later this month, according to former Miss Kenya, Juliet Achieng
who will co-produce the film: ‘Mike has always been a friend and we
have always talked about doing a movie project together. Initially, we
were to work on a TV series but we settled on a movie. He was in the
country to scout for locations and meet a few people here and there.’
She added to Word Is: ‘The movie will be
shot in April here in Kenya. Popular Nollywood stars Angela Okorie and
Mike will be joined by an equally popular Kenyan cast and directed by
Nigerian filmmaker Charles Uwagbai. Above all I want to showcase the
country as a tourist destination and show off it's beautiful movie
locations.’
