Muslims observing this year’s Ramadan
fast are up for free meals from Dufil Prima Foods, Makers of Indomie
Noodles, for the entire period.
According to the company’s Group Public
Relations and Events Manager, Tope Ashiwaju, the effort is geared
towards poverty reduction, sustainable development and catering for the
vulnerable.
He added that the season provided an
opportunity for the firm to identify and connect with the Muslim
population, even as the company had made available a number of mobile
kitchens in central mosques across the country to cater for as many
stomachs after break of fast for 30 days.
“Already, we have identified several
mosques in cities across the country where freshly prepared Indomie will
be served during evening break on a daily basis, that is, one mosque
will be fed per day in a week. Arrangements have been put in place to
ensure that everyone present in any chosen mosques is served immediately
after evening prayers”, he explained.
