Pictured are seven out of the eleven women who graduated on the 15th of June 1963 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
According to Ike Anya, Miss Okereke became Nigerian ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago as Mrs Kurubo. Miss Nwodo, as Mrs Grace Obayi was a Commissioner for Education in Enugu State in the late 1990s. Mrs Onwuteaka went on to become school principal and later senior educational administrator in Nigeria.
