Saw this nice report on Daily Mirror…A poor woman with two children broke down in tears after an Arabic man offered her cash for her gold, but then refused to take the jewellery off her hands.
The woman walked into a pawnbrokers store when she hands over some items for the man to value.
After spending time looking at them intently, and chatting to the woman and her kids, the man then counts out a wad of cash and hands it to her.
But after she takes the money from his hand, he picks up the jewellery, and also appears to hand it back.
Clearly shocked by his kind gesture, the woman is seen breaking down in tears before offering the ‘ cash for gold ‘ employee a hug.
At the end of the clip, a caption reads:
“This man is from Syria. He lives in Dallas [US].”
Reports suggest the woman was selling her gold in order to be able to afford to care for her sick mother.
