‘Without Southern Crude Oil, The North Is Nothing’ – Fani-Kayode Drops Bombshell [TWEETS]

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on Thursday, August 11, 2016 intensifies his advocacy for a restructuring in Nigeria, while emphasizing that he prays for President Muhammadu Buhari to find crude oil in the northern part of the country in commercial quantities.

Fani-Kayode, a strong advocate for the restructuring of Nigeria, said in a series of tweets that he is glad that Buhari is desperately looking for crude oil in the North Eastern part of the country and predicted that if there is oil in the northern part of the country, Northerners would be the first to call for a breakup of the country.

The vocal opposition figure said that he believes that the major barrier to ensuring peaceful resolution on the different agitations for restructuring Nigeria is because the North depends on the South for its survival.

“My prayer for Nigeria is that oil is found in commercial quantities in the core north.I am glad that @MBuhari is looking for it desperately,” he wrote on micro-blogging website, Twitter.

“If he finds it he and the north will be the first to call for a break up of the country. If he fails to find it they will continue to be the the greatest obstacle to the restructuring of our nation and they will continue to provide the greatest opposition to the peaceful division of our country.

“Why? Because without southern oil the north is nothing,” Fani-Kayode declared.
