Senate defers screening of Magu as EFCC Chairman

The confirmation hearing on the nomination of Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, anticipated to hold today, has been deferred by the Senate.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had few months ago written to the Senate seeking the confirmation of Magu as the substantive chairman of the anti-graft agency.
