Former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke to meet alleged blackmailer in court

Towards the latter end of 2016, a cucumber scandal dominated online conversations. Former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke was seen in a video using a cucumber to satisfy her sexual urges. The case is now in court and she is set to appear in a Lagos Court today to face one of her alleged blackmailers who reportedly leaked her controversial lesbian video.

The Due Process Advocates(DPA) says :”The arraignment is a ‘closely guarded secret’ and the court location will not be made public for the safety of the former beauty queen. We are not disclosing the court for obvious reasons. But we will be in court,” said the DPA in a statement released on their Facebook page, adding that though they are not officially involved in the case, they will be “monitoring closely the development of the story.”
The activists said that Ms Okeke’s appearance today “is in relation to the arraignment of one of her blackmailers, the man she paid money into his account to avoid the release of the controversial sex video. The man is being arraigned today and we believe the DSS is the agency in charge of the case.”
This controversy started barely a year after she won the Miss Anambra beauty pageant, a video which seemingly showed the beauty queen and a female partner playing out a racy scene was leaked online and generated mixed reactions on social media. She initially denied the tape, saying she was not the one in the leaked video. She later owned up and  revealed that she has been blackmailed by some people in the State.
