She was said to have died over the weekend at the Orientation Camp located in Kaiama, Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of the state.
Also, Ifedolapo Oladepo, a First Class graduate of Transport Management from the Ladoke Akintola university of Technology, Ogbomoso, had died in the Orientation Camp in Kano.
Also Monday Ukeme, another first class graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Uyo, died in Zamfara NYSC camp after battling Diarrhoea.
Jumoke was in Platoon 8 at Kaiama Grammar School in Kaiama.
She pleaded with corps members not to always hide their health challenges, noting that only the living could serve the nation.
Jumoke, a 2017 Batch B Stream II corps member, was said to have died after an asthmatic attack at the camp’s clinic.
A source, who would not want to be mentioned, told the newspaper that the deceased suffered her first attack a week after she arrived in the camp, but was assisted by her colleagues.
Jumoke’s body was deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa.
It was learnt that NYSC officials arrived the camp on Friday evening and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding Jumoke’s death.
The Director-General, NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Sule Kauzure, was said to have sent a delegation of senior NYSC officials from the headquarters in Abuja.
