Face governance, stop blaming PDP for Nigeria’s economic woes, Sheriff tells FG
The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Ali Modu Sherriff said he is ready to resume work at the PDP secretariat in Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

Sheriff made the statement during a reception for PDP members from the south west who visited him in his office.
The chairman told the visiting PDP members that he has commence moves to get the security agencies to give approval for the opening of the secretariat
He assured them that the secretariat will be open for work on or before Friday.
The Office have been locked up by Security operatives since 2016 as a result of the leadership crises that rocked the party.
He said “my mission is to rebuild the party and bring it back to its 1999 position.’
Leader of the group and Chairman of PDP in the South West Mr Makanjuola Ogundipe, said they were in Abuja to show support and solidary to Sherriff.
Ogundipe urged Sherriff to see his victory at the court as an opportunity to unit all members of the party irrespective of whatever has happened
The Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt on Feb. 17 ruled that Ali Modu Sherriff remains the authentic Chairman of the Party, a pronouncement that did not go down well with the Makarfi’s faction.
