Reacting to reports that Buhari had plans to fly his doctors into the country, Shehu told reporters in Abuja that the president will return to the country where he spent his 49-day medical vacation.
“We are not aware that this has changed. We are not aware of the reported advance movements.”
However, Shehu did not specify when Buhari will continue his medical vacation.
Speaking with members of his cabinet shortly after returning to the country on March 10, Buhari had revealed that he would be returning to Britain for follow-ups, the cable reports.
“There may be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks,” he had said.
