Nicki Minaj: surprises fans with her generosity

Naughty Girl Nicki Minaj is trending on Twitter, for multiple reasons. It is not just for her new collabo video with David Guetta and Lil Wayne in, “Light My Body Up”,  or the video of her new single #RegretInYourTears.
It is also for her generosity: an offer to pay the school tuition of her fans. The only condition  however is that they must show ‘straight A’s’or good grades.
After Minaj recently joined the video-dubbing app Musical.ly, she issued a #RegretInYourTears challenge to her fans to record creative videos dancing to her latest single.  As http://uproxx.com/ reported, she  promised to fly out her favourites to hang out in the studio with her or visit with her at the Billboard Music Awards.
Then came a reply by  @cjbydesign to Minaj contest tweets:  “Well you wanna pay my tuition?”. Minaj actually decided to do just that.

This sparked a whole different sort of challenge on Nicki’s timeline as more responses came,  with fans of the “No Frauds” rapper sending screen shots of report cards, progress reports, and stories of financial hardship and educational goals.

Nicki replied to thirty fans, telling them to send bank account info for her to pay for their tuition, school loans, and needed equipment.
She ended the run of tweets with a promise of another round in a month or so, joking, “Let me make those payments tomorrow then see if I have any money left.”
With an estimated net worth of over $70 million, that shouldn’t be too much of a problem, hopefully.
