Nwoye said it was an error for Nnamani to rejoin the (PDP), a party he left to for the People for Democratic Change (PDC).
Nwoye expressed shock that Chimaroke would head back to PDP when other prominent members of the party in the state were running away due to the party’s poor state of health.
“I think it is part of the freedom to exercise his right, but he has
continued in the path of mistake; a path of mistake when he founded a
one-man party, (PDC) and that mistake took him out of the senate
seat.

“If the former governor, Chimaroke wants to go on and join a party that is clearly not in existence, it’s his own personal business, but then again our doors are open if he changes his mind,” he said.

including the former Governor of the state, Barr. Sullivan Chime, for
taking a wise and bold decision.
In a remark at the occasion, the former Governor, Chime stressed that
he did not leave PDP because of any quarrel with anybody but because
the party was dead.
He commended the APC chairman, Dr. Nwoye for his vibrancy and
indefatigable spirit, as well as that of other members of the party,
saying such tenacity was responsible for the success of the party.
