Romelu Lukaku joined Paul Pogba for a personal training session as his move to manchester United edged closer to completion.
The pair, who have long been friends, worked out at UCLA in Los Angeles, where Lukaku reportedly completed a Manchester United medical on Thursday evening.Lukaku looked set to return to Chelsea earlier this week with the Belgian understood to have favoured a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, with the help of Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola, Manchester United look to have stolen the Belgian striker from underneath Chelsea's noses.
As
reported by Telegraph Sport's James Ducker on Thursday morning
Manchester United are understood to have had a £75m bid accepted by
Everton, with Wayne Rooney set to move in the opposite direction.
The prospect of Lukaku snubbing a move to Chelsea in favour of joining Manchester United is likely to infuriate Antonio Conte, who spent a huge amount of time in a bid to push a deal through.

Pogba and Lukaku have been touring the west coast of America as part of their off-season break in a repeat of the trip they took last summer when Pogba was on the verge of signing for Manchester United. According to the Telegraph's Sam Wallace and Matt Law, Chelsea’s only faint hope of resurrecting their own bid for Lukaku rests on whether or not the player is willing to veto his move to United in favour of holding out for his old employers.
Manchester
United remain confident they can complete the deal before the club
departs on their pre-season tour of the US on Sunday.
Lukaku, 24, scored 25 Premier League goals for Everton last season, more than any other Manchester United player.
