Anambra primaries: Ifeanyi Ubah sues PDP [Video]

Nigerian businessman mogul and Politician, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, has filed a lawsuit against the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, over alleged ‘irregularities’ in the procedures of party’s gubernatorial primaries for the upcoming Anambra state governorship elections.
In a video obtained by PoliticsNGR, Ubah speaks about the primaries and reveals that he has sued the party, citing the consequences of the development.

There have been accusations and counter accusations over the party’s delegates list, with some aspirants complaining of the party’s rank being infiltrated by members of other political parties, with the hope of disrupting the emergence of the party’s choice of candidate.
An aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince John Emeka, had earlier backed out of the aspiration for the ticket of the party.
A short press statement by Emeka cited irregularities in the party’s delegates list as reason for his withdrawal.
The aspirant who did not state those responsible for the mutilation of the list simply announced his withdrawal from the contest.
