Mama June's daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 17, is pregnant

Mama June's 17-year-old daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon is pregnant. Pumpkin made the announcement during a video message that aired on WeTV's website.
She said: "Hey guys, guess what? I'm pregnant! I don't know what I'm having yet, but if I had to bet because of all the girls in our family, I'm probably having a girl."

The reality star revealed she's really excited about becoming a mother though there are challenges she fears she might face.
"I'm really excited to be a new mom, but there are some challenges that I'm going to have to face," she said, adding that she's nervous about the actual birth because, "My baby daddy's head is, like, the size of a freakin' watermelon."
She's also not looking forward to the full pregnancy experience, saying that it's nine months of "horrific, hot" days.
Pumpkin said: "I really wish I could have this child right now. I hate being pregnant, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I mean, I wish you could just be pregnant for 30 days and then (give birth), you know what I'm saying?"

This will be Mama June's third grandchild (she has two from her first child, Anna) and Pumpkin believes she will make a fine grandmother to her child.
She said" "I think Mama will be an all right grandma. I mean, she can't really see, but she'll do good."
