A woman was rescued from the clutches of death after a fire engulfed the house she was living in Lagos state. If not for residents, a mother of 3 would have been burnt to ashes
after fire engulfed her house in Lagos in a bungalow building at 11
Morounfolu Street, Otubu bus stop, Agege, Lagos, today.
However, she was rescued alive, but with minor burns. She had been
trapped inside the fire without anyone knowing before search and rescue
efforts were focused on her room and this led to her being rescued
alive.
She was later taken to an undisclosed hospital by her relation.
The cause of the fire was unknown. NEMA, Manufacturer Association
of Nigeria (MAN) Fire Service, State Fire Service, Police and LASEMA
Fire Service Unit responded to the distress alert.
