N-Power reveals when verification will begin as Teach test starts Wednesday

N-Power on Tuesday​ ​revealed when physical verification of applicants will commence.
The information was relayed on the N-Power Twitter account @npower_ng.

Reacting to a question, N-Power said the exercise has been scheduled to begin “when everyone has written their assessment test”.
On​ ​how​ ​N-Power​ ​would decide the place of deployment​ ​of an who scales all the stages, the handle replied “we work with our State Institutional Partners to decide this”.
Meanwhile, the N-Teach assessment tests will now commence on Wednesday 9th of August.
N-Power Teach volunteers are expected to improve basic education delivery in Nigeria and will be deployed as teacher assistants in primary schools nationwide.

It explained that they will not replace the current teachers, but are to work as support teaching staff, assist with school management and other functions within the schools.
The duration of the programme is 2 years and participants will undergo an initial induction training prior to deployment.
Furthermore, N-Power Teach volunteers can aspire to a life-long career in teaching or allied fields including:
Professional Teaching;
Researcher, Research Associate, Senior Research Analyst;
Education Consultant, Associate;
Strategy Consultant;
Education Services Manager;
Project Manager;
Project Supervisor;
Social services analyst.

However, applicants who registered between July 15 and 27 (the extension period) will commence their test later in August.
