Video of white South African couple narrowly escape being carjacked after spotting a gun-wielding man approaching their Range Rover

 

This viral video shows a gun-wielding man jumped out of a C-Class Mercedes Benz in an attempt to carjack a couple just outside their home in Johannesburg but the husband's smartness left him in his own shadow.
The CCTV footage shared by the man's wife named as Anelle Hills from Midrand in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, north-eastern South Africa, shows the moment she had just returned home with her husband Roger in their white Range Rover.
When she steps out of the car with her dog coming towards her. Mrs. Hills quickly jumps back in while her husband quickly reverses back down the drive, almost hitting the carjacker after they saw the gun-wielding man coming towards them.

Making sure they totally avoid being carjacked, Mr. Hills continues to reverse at speed down the road to save them both from the would-be carjackers.
The carjackers drive after the Range Rover and the clip, taken from the couple's security camera, finishes.

Taking to social media, Mrs. Hills who posted the video online thanked her husband for keeping them safe.
She wrote: 'Roger's quick thinking got us away quickly and safely!'Mrs. Hills added: 'God's Protection is amazing.'
