Viral video of a 'racist' soap dispenser which responds to only light skin

A video of a soap dispenser which responds only to light skin has gone viral. In the video, a white man is seen using the dispenser but it refuses to work when a black man tried to use it. The black man then brings out a white tissue, folds it and placed under the dispenser which dispenses soap immediately.
There is, however, a fierce argument online that it is the fault of the manufacturer who failed to consider the different races during production.
