Buhari appoints 3 dead people as Board members, Chairman[DETAILS]

Three out of the board members and chairmen newly appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari are deceased, an investigation has revealed.

Senator Francis Okpozo who died in December 2016, was appointed the new chairman of the Nigerian Press Council.

Reverend Christopher Utov, who died in March 2017, is on the board of Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research and Chief Donald Ugbaja, who died last month, on the board of the Consumer Protection Council.

On Friday, the presidency announced the appointment of 209 new board chairmen and 1,258 members of government agencies and parastatals.
