Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has revealed when the United States of America, USA, would likely move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
According to Netanyahu, the US will relocate its embassy within a year.
The Prime Minister told journalists accompanying him on an official trip to India,“The embassy is going to be moved to Jerusalem faster than you think, certainly within a year.”
Back in December 2017, US President, Donald Trump had recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and pledged to move the embassy to the disputed city.
Different groups, individuals and corporate organizations have since kicked against the move which has also deeply angered the Palestinians.
The US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, also disclosed in December that the relocation of the embassy would probably not take place for at least, two years.
