President Buhari Attacks INEC Over Postponement of Elections (Video)

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC of ‘inefficiency’ following the postponement of the 2019 general elections.

 

Buhari made this known during a short interview, shortly after his arrival in Abuja, criticized the electoral body saying;

 

“INEC has all got the time to conduct a programme. They were given the resources, they had all the time. They kept on telling us up until the last minute that they are ready. The fact that there are not ready, there is some inefficiency along the line.”
