Nigerian man arrested after attempting to acquire Ghanaian passport through fraudulent means

A Nigerian man identified as Ofori Donny, has been arrested by the National Security Operatives in Ghana after attempting to acquire Ghanaian passport through fraudulent means.

Before attempting to get the Ghanaian passport which he said he needed because "he wanted to belong", the 31-year-old Nigerian man had fraudulently obtained a Ghanaian birth certificate and a voter identification card.

“I am a Nigerian who has been based in Ghana for a long time…I have been part of the people and I made myself part of the people so I decided to do everything (the people do),” Donny said.

Donny is reportedly still under investigation.
