Coronavirus: Ministry Of Health Director In Yobe Dies At Isolation Centre

Yobe State in mourning as reports reaching this online news platform at this time confirmed that a Director of Human Resource in the State Ministry of Health has died while awaiting his COVID-19 test result.

Alhaji Muazu Brahji has died on Thursday, May 7, two days after he was taken to the state specialist hospital isolation centre in Damaturu where he was later confirmed dead.

The development was disclosed to newsmen by the deceased’s relative, Yau Ubaliyo Abubakar who revealed that his late brother was on Tuesday rushed to the isolation facility.

Yobe, just like Kogi State and some other state, presently is without a COVID-19 testing centre. All of the Coronavirus samples from the state were taken to either Abuja or Borno for testing.
