Reno Omokri Praised Twitter For Deleting President Buhari's Tweet About Civil War

 

Twitter has deleted President Buhari’s tweet where he stated that those who are too young to understand what occurred during the civil war will soon be treated in a 'language they will understand'

 

A former Presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri, has applauded Twitter for deleting President Buhari's tweet where he made reference to the 1966 Civil war.
 
Reacting via his Twitter handle, Reno commended the social media platform for deleting the tweet but asked that the account be deleted as well

''I commend @Twitter for deleting @MBuhari ’s tweet threatening Civil War 2 on Nigeria’s SE. It was a most irresponsible tweet and Nigerians are grateful to

@Jack  for talking that action. But please do not stop there. Delete his account. Buhari is a menace to the world''

Many Nigerians interpreted the tweet as a threat, particularly to the youths in the South East. The tweet was reported by many people and it has now been deleted.
