BREAKING NEWS: Militants Blow Up Escravos Gas Line In Delta

Niger Delta militants have blown a section of the Escravos gas trunkline behind salvation city, near Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West local government area of Delta State, The Cable reports.

This incident happened in the early hours of Friday, May 20, 2016.

Hostilities have returned to the oil-rich region of the Niger Delta in the past 6 months with a new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, claiming responsibility for most of the attacks which have reduced Nigeria’s oil production by up to 50%.
